It’s Cold Here Today
I didn’t want to go outside until the sun came out but it doesn’t look like it is. I’ll talk to you guys first and then venture out for awhile. The mistress will be over here soon and want the computer. She will have a fit if she knows I’ve been on it talking to you guys.
One thing about the cooler weather is that the squirrels come out more looking for nuts. I love chasing those little long tail rats. It’s funny how they run around the tree when they see me. Man can they put up a fuss. Tipsy and I will try and gang up on them, but they usually get away. I think it’s because Molly tries to sneak up too. Molly is too big and has that long fluffy tail that alerts them. No matter how much we try to get him (Yes, him. Don’t ask me how he got the name.) to hang back, he just has to get into the fun.
The mistress is working on book three of Tales of the Cat after all. I caught a glance at the title. I can’t tell you right now, but I’ll leak it soon. She’s so picky. Anyway, being a cat, I’m glad she’s working on that one right now instead of the series of short stories about wolves. ugh! Hmmm, I’ll even tell you the hero’s name as soon as I see it.
Okay, better brave the cold and see if there are any long tail rats out there yet. Tipsy will beat me too them. I can’t figure out how she can stand the cold and she’s short haired. Oh well. I’ll let the mistress have her office and I’ll talk to you all later.
