Rainy Weather

Monday, August 25th, 2008

Hi, it’s Lizzy,

It’s been raining here all weekend and I’m ready for it to quit. I can’t get out and hunt with it pouring now. It has made all of us grouchy and the mistress is tired of us fussing. Oh and did I tell you we ended up with yet another cat, well kitten. Her name is Molly. So we now have Tipsy and Molly. I can’t believe they allowed them to stay when they showed up.

It is getting closer to the mistress’s new book coming out. Only about 6 weeks left. Get ready!

Later,

Lizzy

Back To The Grind

Tuesday, August 5th, 2008

Back at work today. I took yesterday off to recover and take care of chores. I got home a little before 2am and slept great until nearly 10.  The trip home was great with no nasty surprises. Unless you count loosing a wheel on one of my suitcases. That I can handle though.

I’m going to be working on edits for Jaguar Nights and two of my short stories for the next month. Then I have a writing project I want to start. You’ll hear from Lizzy more than me since I’ll be a little busy. Hope you all are having a wonderful summer!

It’s over!

Sunday, August 3rd, 2008

Boy have I had fun!  THe Rita’s and Golden Heart program was awsome. Congratulations to all the winners! This entire conference has been awsome and the hotel staff jewels. Everyone here has been so nice and helpful. I couldn’t have been any happier.

I am waiting until time to leave for the airport and my flight home. I can’t wait to see my parents and the cats. Lizzie is obviously upset with me for being gone since she hasn’t posted. I’m not surprised. I’m sure I will be person non grata for a few days. Then they will all be happy to see me.

I’m off Monday from work so I can relax and sleep in. I will need to unpack and wash clothes. I sure hate to go back to work but I have to work to pay for my writing habit. I’m sure you understand. I also like to eat. :-) Still it will not be so bad. I will fly high from the conference and it will tide me over until the Magnolias and Moonlight conference in October!

I’ll see you all later. Have a great day!

Death By Chocolate

Friday, August 1st, 2008

I can attest to that. I ate a huge plate full of all types of chocolate and nearly made myself sick. Sush decadence. I didn’t want to get up this morning. I will crave chocolate for the rest of the weekend I’m sure.

The conference is so much fun. I’ve been to several book signings and then there are the workshops. They have been exceptionally good this year.

I’m off again for a luncheon and then more book signings and workshops. I will keep reporting in as I find the strenghth to drag myself to the computer. I think Lizzy may have to talk to you next time. I’m pooped!
