Mary Alice Pritchard’s Blog

Its been a busy day yesterday. I did have some downtime and I watched people go buy. THere are so many different languages and nationalities. It’s fun to watch them come and go. The lobby is never quiet. Today, the workshops begin. THere is also a Harlequin Blaze book signing. I’m planning to go to that one. Then a talk with Nora Roberts this afternoon. The Annual General Meeting is this morning so we will be there for about 45 minutes. Lunch will be provided with a keynote speaker. I’m really looking foward to things heating up.

I’ve been all over this city. Lost most of the time, but I made it back to the hotel in one piece. There is so much diversity in the cultures here. I’ve ridden the trolly several times and been to the wharf. I’ve seen the Golden Gate Bridge as close as you can without driving over it and found a Walgreens. I was very happy to find it. They have diet cokes much cheaper than the hotel.

I can actually see the bridge from my window. The room is nice and I slept fairly good last night. ONly problem was the constant sirens going down the street. They must have a lot of things going on here.

I called to check on the muses and they seem to be doing fine. I wouldn’t be surprised if Lizzy decides to talk to you later. She is a little miffed that I didn’t take her. Dippity is meowing all over the house according to my parents and Little Bit is just as worrisome as ever trying to run through the doors to get inside every chance he gets.

I’m here! I wasn’t sure I’d actually make it, but I did. I flew in on American Airlines and had a great trip. I can see the golden gate bridge from my window. Isn’t that just so cool. Not sure what I will do tomorrow but exploring is deffinately on the menu.

In case any of you don’t know it, it is realy windy here! I could get blown down and that would be a big feat for sure. It’s a nice 63 or so temperature wise and I know I will have a wonderful time taking the trolly and seeing what I can within walking distance.

Hi everyone. It’s actually me, Mary Alice Pritchard. Lizzy is mad cause I’m blogging instead of her, but I wanted to let you know I’m going to San Fransico, CA to Romance Writers of America next week. I’m flying out Monday and should be there by 3 that afternoon.  I’m going to let you all know what is going on each day and who I’v seen there.

Lizzy is so busy fussing about the new kitten she is just in a bad mood, so if she blogs, just ignore her. LOL  A kitten showed up at our house about a month ago. It was so small and wild, but my parents tamed her and now she is a spoiled brat. Her name is Tipsy or Tips for short. Anyway Lizzy is not happy.
